First of all, no matter what kind of crucible is, it is not as strong as metal, so we should pay attention when using it, handle it with care, and avoid the crucible from being hit or dropped, which may cause damage to the crucible.

In normal times, we should store the crucible in a dry place to avoid moisture or water. Because moisture may react with the substances in the crucible under certain conditions, it will affect the heating effect and cause a large deviation in the performance of the crucible.

When the new furnace is used for the first time, the temperature is raised to the operating temperature at a rate of 200 degrees per hour, and then maintained at the operating temperature for a period of time to make the crucible of the electric furnace firm and prevent the occurrence of gas and sand holes.

When heating, put the substance into the crucible lightly to prevent the crucible from being damaged due to excessive force. Be careful not to aim the flame directly at the crucible, so as to avoid leaving black marks on the bottom of the crucible.

When the crucible is out of use, try to take out all the solids and waste liquid in it, so as to reduce the corrosion to the crucible and prolong its service life.
