Requirements of MF Induction Furnace for Cooling Water System
The cooling parts of medium frequency induction furnace equipment mainly include furnace induction coil, capacitor bank, power thyristor frequency converter, etc.
1. The cooling water system for induction coil and capacitor bank
The cooling water pressure should be kept at 0.2 ~ 0.3 MPa, the water temperature should be kept at the inlet water temperature of 20 ~ 35 ℃, and the outlet water temperature should be lower than 55 ℃. If the cooling water temperature is too low, condensation will occur, and if the water temperature exceeds 55 ℃, the cooling capacity will be lost. In order to save water, a circulating cooling system is usually used.
2. The cooling system of the SCR frequency converter
The cooling water of silicon controlled transistor shall meet the following conditions: the cooling water pressure shall be stably kept at 0.15 MPa, the water quality shall be softened, the hardness shall be less than P8, the resistance shall be above 20k, and the insoluble matter in the water shall be less than 0.03 mg/L.
In order to ensure the safe use of medium frequency induction furnace equipment, the cooling water system should implement a centralized water supply and backwater, and the waterway should be equipped with a water pressure alarm device and water cut-off alarm device to prevent equipment accidents caused by insufficient water pressure or water cut-off.
